Care Guide

Everything you need to know to keep your rug looking fresh.

Vacuum regularly

Removing surface dust will keep your rug looking fresh – use your vacuum cleaner’s rug attachment if it has one. Occasionally vacuuming the reverse of the rug as part of your care routine will help to deter moths.

Spot cleaning

Do not put your rug in the washing machine. To clean any problem areas, use a sponge and a gentle blotting action with warm water and a mild detergent (like washing up liquid) or a 1:2 mix of water and vinegar. For total disasters — consult a professional.

Moth treatment

The rugs are backed with latex, which is natural pest repellent. However, if moths seem keen to make a home where they are unwanted, choose a moth treatment and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
