THIS RUG HAS SOLD OUT- WHY NOT COMMISSION ONE

This rug is tufted in a natural landscape colour pallet of brown, ochre, yellow and a variety of green rug wools.

The contemporary stripe design is inspired by walks up to Devrow hill at sunset looking out across Gloucestershire to the river severn.

Each rug is handmade with rug wool this rug made for the floor and to be stood on. This small runner was designed to go next to your bed.

Its sumptuous pile is meant for walking on, and at around an inch thick they really are a treat for your feet.

Materials information

- Sustainably sourced, hardwearing  rug wool. I use 80/20 rug wool it is 80% natural fiber wool and other 20% is synthetic and also factors in the dying process. This wool blend allows the rugs to be soft but also durable.

- I tuft onto polyester backing fabric for durability.

- All my rugs are backed with natural latex made here in the UK

- I use coloured cotton herringbone tape to fix the edges and finish off the rug with a organic cotton Studio Tuft label

Process information

I use the Hoffmann tufting gun, this is connected to a compressor which is why the rugs I make have such a dense pile.

Care Guide

Vacuum regularly

Removing surface dust will keep your rug looking fresh – use your vacuum cleaner’s rug attachment if it has one. Occasionally vacuuming the reverse of the rug as part of your care routine will help to deter moths.

Cleaning

Do not put your rug in the washing machine.

For mud, let it dry overnight and brush off once fully dry.

Any other spillages use a sponge and a gentle blotting action with warm water and a mild detergent (like washing up liquid) or a 1:2 mix of water and vinegar.
